Our full-scope endodontic practice caters to patients from ages six to over 100.
Dr. Christopher Joubert purchased East Endodontic Dental Specialists in 2014 with the goal of continuing the tradition started by Dr. Bruce Merriam in 1976. Dr. Merriam's practice had served the Suffolk County, NY, community for 42 years, and Dr. Joubert continues his legacy by providing patient-friendly care in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dr. Joubert is a board-certified endodontist. He is joined by Dr. Alexander Sanchez and together they offer state-of-the-art endodontic care.

A native of Long Island, Dr. Christopher Joubert is proud to provide high-quality endodontic services to his community. As a board-certified endodotist and a diplomate for the American Board of Endodontics, he has achieve the highest level of education available in endodontics. Few endodontists actually complete this process.

Dr. Alexander Sanchez
Dr. Alexander Sanchez joined East Endodontic Dental Specialists in 2016, bring advanced education and training to our team. After earning his D.D.S degree, Dr. Sanchez went on to complete an Advanced Speciality Education Program in endodontics. In his commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care, Dr. Sanchez has also begun the board certification process with the American Board of Endodontics.

Contemporary apical surgery represents an evolution of the traditional methods of performing apicoectomies, while resorption surgery can treat a rare form of lesion. Using microsurgery techniques and state-of-the-art equipment, Dr. Joubert and Dr. Sanchez can produce more predictable outcomes for improved oral health.

State-of-the-Art Endodontic Technology for Precise, Painless Treatment
At East Endodontic Dental Specialists, we are committed to keeping our practice up-to-date with the latest technology. We invest in advanced tools to ensure your treatment is as precise, effective, and pain-free as possible. Our narrow field cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) system uses less radiation than other devices to reduce your exposure. Using our CBCT, we can take three dimensional scans of your smile to accurately plan your treatment.
In addition, we use surgical operating microscopes for 100 percent of our endodontic procedures. Not every practice employs microscopes with such consistency. By doing so, Dr. Joubert and Dr. Sanchez can obtain a better visual of the inside of your tooth during your treatment for a more positive, comfortable outcome.
